NEREA is a bottom up initiative for augmenting an LTER (Long Term Ecological Research) sampling exercises with moorings, regular short cruises and question-driven process studies, using both innovative and traditional techniques. The NEREA project is designed to promote multidisciplinary approaches, from the sampling strategy, to the development of new indicators for ocean health.
